Add Your Entries
Type your items in the text box on the right — one per line. Names, options, prizes — anything goes!
Click the Wheel
Click anywhere on the wheel or press Ctrl+Enter to spin.
See the Winner
Watch the wheel spin with satisfying sound effects, then celebrate with confetti when a winner is picked!
Spin Again
Remove the winner and spin again, or keep all entries for another round. It's up to you!
Managing Your Entries
The entries panel on the right side of the screen lets you manage your wheel items with ease:
- 📝 List Tab — Edit entries inline with individual weight and color controls
- 📄 Text Tab — Bulk edit entries as plain text, one per line
- 🔀 Shuffle — Randomly reorder your entries for a fresh wheel layout
- ↕️ Sort — Alphabetically sort your entries A → Z
- 🗑️ Clear — Remove all entries and start fresh
Your entries are automatically saved in your browser. Close the tab, come back later, and everything will still be there. You can also save wheels to your personal library for quick access later.
Using Multiple Wheels
SpinAWheel supports up to 6 wheels running simultaneously! This is perfect for multi-round games, tournament brackets, or separating different types of entries. Learn more about creative ways to use multiple wheels.
- Click the + Add wheel button at the bottom of the entries panel to add a new wheel
- Click on wheel tabs to switch between them
- Each wheel has its own independent set of entries and results
- Use Spin all wheels to spin every wheel at once
- Click Remove to delete a wheel you no longer need
Customizing Your Wheel
Make the wheel your own using the Style and Sound tabs:
- 🎨 Color Palettes — Choose from 10 curated color themes (Classic, Sunset, Ocean, Neon, and more)
- 🔤 Text Size — Adjust between Small, Medium, and Large text on the wheel
- ⚡ Spin Speed — Set the spin duration to Slow, Normal, or Fast
- ⚖️ Weighted Entries — Give certain entries a higher probability using the weight controls
- 🎨 Per-Entry Colors — Assign custom colors to individual wheel segments
Sharing Your Wheel
Want to share your wheel with someone else? Click the 🔗 Share button in the top-right corner. A unique URL will be generated that contains all your current wheel entries. Send the link to anyone — they'll see your exact wheel with no account or sign-up needed!
Viewing Results
Switch to the Results tab to see a history of all winners from your spinning sessions. Each result includes a timestamp so you can keep track of the order. Clear results anytime with the Clear button.
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Ctrl + Enter — Spin the wheel
- Escape — Close any open modal
Theme & Sound
Use the 🌙 / ☀️ button to switch between dark and light themes. Use the 🔊 button to toggle sound effects on or off. Your preferences are saved automatically.

How do I remove a winner after spinning?
When the winner modal appears after a spin, click the Remove button. This removes that entry from the wheel so it won't be picked again on the next spin.
Can I save my wheel and load it later?
Absolutely! Your entries are automatically saved in your browser. Additionally, you can click the 💾 Save button to store the wheel in your personal library, and load it anytime using the 📂 Library button.
